The Unnatural Cook

a chronicle of weekly meal plans from someone who can't just throw a meal together

Ingredients:

1 or 2 heads of cauliflower, depending on size (we like a lot!)
2 or 3 onions
6 Bratworst (we use Neiman Ranch)
pine nuts
olive oil
parmesan
1 lb pasta
salt
pepper

Directions:

Preheat oven to 450°

Wash & cut florets off cauliflower. Mix with olive oil & salt. Roast for one hour at 450°

While cauliflower is roasting, slice and brown sausage. Remove from pan and sauté onions in same pan. While onions are sauteing, brown pine nuts on stove top.

Boil past according to package directions (we usually use rigatoni) and drain. Add olive oil, sausage, onions, cauliflower & salt and pepper to taste. Mix in parmesan & toasted pine nuts. (we serve with extra of both on the side)
