Baked Beans (for crockpot)

 

Ingredients

 

1.5 lbs (3 cups) dried small white beans, or navy beans

2.5 cups chicken broth + extra while cooking

1 light T. salt

1 (6 ounce) can tomato paste

1/3 cup molasses

2 tablespoons dried mustard

2 T. oilive oil

1 onion

4 slices bacon, chopped

 

Directions

 

Soak beans overnight. Drain beans and put in crockpot.

Sautee onion & bacon in olive oil & add to crockpot.

Add rest of ingredients and stir.

Cover Crock Pot and cook 6-7 hours on high, or 10-12 hours on low. Add water or stock to crockpot if beans begin to dry out.
